Dedication

Did you know that this is not the first attempt at building this website?  At the height of the last "plan"demic the Lord had inspired me to build an app that would help people with learning how to prep.  I jumped right in without any help, but after a few months I found myself lost and eventually quitting without any real progress.  The problem; I tried doing everything by myself and failed miserably. 

Then, in the Summer of 2024, I again asked the Lord what He would like for me to build.  He then brought the idea of a prepper's app again to the forefront.  With my wife's support (and her literally demanding I build this app), I realized how I had failed Our Lord the last time, and I wasn't going to do that again.  

I want to dedicate this project to:

This project would have been UNACHIEVABLE without her remarkable patience and strength. It took nearly a year to develop this web application. Even when friends expressed that the world was crumbling and there wasn't enough time to start such an endeavor, she motivated me to persist. I am certain that after just a few months, I would have thrown in the towel if it weren't for her unwavering support, encouragement, and determination. I owe the entirety of this project to her faith that I could truly create this website.  Most of all, I knew it was Jesus whispering to her to make me finish this time, and I did not want to disappoint her.

To the Holy Family

The morning I embarked on this project, I began that day in the adoration chapel, just Jesus and myself.  It was in that sacred moment, before Our Lord, that I presented my plan for this project to Him and sought the assistance of the Holy Family.  

For the new venture, I felt inspired to invite the Holy Family to take the lead in our new business.  Starting with Jesus, I inquired if He would assume the role of CEO to guide us in developing this application and determining its necessary direction.  I then approached Our Lady, asking if she would take on the role of CFO, fully aware that I would urgently require Her support with our finances, which were likely to be targeted by the evil one to hinder our progress.  Finally, I requested Saint Joseph to be my supervisor, to oversee this project and ensure we remained on the path that Our Lord had set for this endeavor. 

To Blessed Carlos Acutis

Once the development of the website commenced, I quickly came to the realization that this was not going to be a straightforward project. As the challenges of the project increased, I understood that I would require a bit more divine assistance. Enter Saint-to-Be Carlos Acutis. A 15-year-old gamer and computer programmer with a deep love for the Eucharist, he is set to become the Church’s first millennial saint, making him the ideal choice for the task. Thus, I reached out to Saint Carlos Acutis, asking for his help in constructing this extensive web application.  In return, I promised to mention him in my app to encourage future programmers to seek his intercession.  Almost immediately, the development of the site began to align perfectly. With the Holy Family overseeing our Business Administration and Blessed Carlos by my side, we successfully completed this project in just under a year.

Lastly, to my Guardian Angel

Regardless of whether it was waking up at dawn or laboring late into the night, he was always present to motivate me.  Only God knows how often I felt like staying in bed or simply watching television, yet he was always here, softly urging me to accomplish the project assigned to me by the Lord.  Thank you my friend!
